Raidable Bases and Convoy on Main 2x
Rustmates runs two flagship PvE events on Main 2x: Raidable Bases and Convoy. They add pace to long wipes without turning the server into PvE-only. Here's exactly how they work.
Raidable Bases and Convoy are PvE events on RustMates Main 2x: AI-defended bases spawn in tiers you can raid for loot, while Convoy sends an armoured vehicle column across the map. They give solo and small groups a reliable path to good gear without needing to raid another player first.
What Raidable Bases are
Randomly spawned AI-defended bases scattered across the map. Break in, kill the guards, loot the boxes. They range from wood-tier (easy) to armoured (hard) and reward you proportionally.
Difficulty tiers and expected loot
- Easy (wood): pistols, low components, a few resources. Solo-friendly.
- Medium (stone): semi-autos, mid-tier attachments, decent scrap.
- Hard (metal): M39s, MP5s, HQM, high-value components. Bring a team.
- Nightmare (armoured): LMGs, C4 stacks, rockets. Wipe-defining loot.
Rules and cooldowns
- Bases spawn continuously — number scales with server population.
- Once you break in, other players can PvP you for the loot. It's a race, not a lease.
- You cannot place your own TC or bags near a raidable base.
Convoy
A convoy of AI-driven military vehicles patrols the roads. Escort trucks defend a bradley equivalent. Destroy the escorts, crack the main vehicle, loot the drops. Convoy runs on a timer and announces its start in server chat.
Why events aren't on Solo or Solo/Duo
Solo servers are player-vs-player-focused. Adding heavy PvE loot injects gear into the server without any player having to raid — it undercuts the whole point of the mode.
