How wipe schedules work on Rustmates
"When does it wipe?" is the first question every Rust player asks about a new server. Here's the full Rustmates wipe schedule and the reasoning behind each cadence.
A Rust wipe resets the map and loot; a blueprint wipe additionally clears learned blueprints. Force wipes land on the first Thursday of each month when Facepunch patches, and biweekly servers add a map-only wipe fourteen days later. Knowing the exact schedule lets you plan a fresh start instead of joining mid-wipe.
The schedule at a glance
- Main 2x: map wipe biweekly, Thursdays ~19:00 CET. BP wipe monthly.
- Solo 2x: full wipe monthly, first Thursday.
- Solo/Duo 2x: full wipe monthly, first Thursday.
- All servers: daily restart at 06:00 CET, ~2 minutes.

Map wipe vs BP wipe
A map wipe resets the world, all bases, and your inventory. You keep any blueprints you've unlocked. A BP wipe resets your blueprint library too — everyone starts from scratch, everyone farms components again.
Why biweekly on Main
Weekly wipes reward the players who can dedicate a full weekend to wipe day and burn out everyone else. Biweekly gives normal-schedule players a real second week to build, progress, and actually raid the bases they scouted in week one.
Why monthly on Solo and Solo/Duo
Solo players build slower. A weekly wipe on a solo server means everyone lives in a 2x2 forever and no one ever fights over a hard base. Monthly gives soloists room to reach mid-tier without being farm-locked.
Daily restart
06:00 CET, roughly two minutes. Clears memory leaks, applies plugin patches, keeps tick rate stable. Not a wipe — your base and inventory are untouched.
Timezone reference
- 19:00 CET = 18:00 UTC = 13:00 ET (US East) = 10:00 PT (US West).
- Force wipes (Facepunch's first-Thursday full wipe) always align with our Main wipe.
